Korova Inc OÜ (“we”, “us”, “our”) built Bombus as a commercial mobile application (the “Service”). This Service is provided by Korova Inc OÜ and is intended for use as is.
This page informs visitors about our policies on the collection, use, and disclosure of personal information for anyone who uses our Service or the bombusapp.com website (the “Site”).
If you choose to use our Service or Site, you agree to the collection and use of information in relation to this policy. The personal information we collect is used only for providing and improving the Service and the Site. We will not use or share your information with anyone except as described in this Privacy Policy.
Bombus is a sleep- and care-tracking app for parents and caregivers. To provide the Service we collect:
We use the data we collect to operate the Service: to sync your family's log across devices, to show sleep history and patterns, to make on-device schedule suggestions, and to let the caretakers you invite see and add to the shared log. We may also use your contact information to communicate with you about your account, security updates, or changes to the Service.
We do not sell your data, we do not show ads, and we do not use your data — or your child's data — for advertising or profiling of any kind.
The information you log is visible to the members of your Bombus family: you and the caretakers you have invited (for example a partner, grandparent, or nanny). You control who is in your family, and the family owner can remove a caretaker's access at any time in the app.
Bombus stores its data with Google Firebase (Authentication and Cloud Firestore), which processes data on our behalf under Google's terms and data-processing agreements. Your data is encrypted in transit and at rest. See also the privacy policy of Google services.
Subscriptions are purchased through Apple's App Store. Payment is handled entirely by Apple — we never receive your payment details.
The Service does not include third-party analytics or advertising SDKs.
When you use the Service, the infrastructure it runs on (Google Firebase) may record technical log data such as your device's Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, device type, operating system version, and the time and date of requests. This data is used for security and to keep the Service running reliably.
The Site is a simple static website and does not set cookies of its own.
We value your trust in providing us your personal information, and we strive to use commercially acceptable means of protecting it — including encryption in transit and at rest, and per-family access rules enforced on the server. But remember that no method of transmission over the internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure and reliable, and we cannot guarantee its absolute security.
Your data is retained for as long as your account exists. You can delete your account at any time from Settings inside the app; this deletes your account and, if you are the family owner, your family's data — including everything you have logged about your child — from our servers. You can also contact us at support@bombusapp.com to request deletion or a copy of your data.
Bombus is made for adults — parents and caregivers. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 13. The information about your child that the Service stores is entered by you, the parent or guardian, and is used solely to provide the Service to your family. It is never used for advertising, sold, or shared outside the service providers described above, and it is deleted when you delete your account. If you believe a child under 13 has created an account or provided us with personal information, please contact us at support@bombusapp.com so that we can take the necessary action.
This Service and Site may contain links to other sites. If you click on a third-party link, you will be directed to that site. Note that these external sites are not operated by us, and we strongly advise you to review their privacy policies. We have no control over and assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party sites or services.
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. You are advised to review this page periodically for any changes. We will attempt to notify you of significant changes if we have your contact information.
