Prices are US App Store or vendor pricing-page prices in October 2026 and can differ by country; the Bombus price is the euro price and the App Store shows your local one. Where a cell says “not described” or “not documented”, the app’s own listing, website and help pages don’t say, so we make no claim either way.
Huckleberry is the best-known app in this category and tracks a wide range of things for free: sleep, feeds, diapers, pumping, growth, medicine, solids and more. Its SweetSpot nap predictor, schedule creator and insights are in Huckleberry Plus ($11.99/month), and custom sleep plans and AI chat are in Premium ($14.99/month). It runs on iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch and Android.
Bombus does less and aims to do it faster. Logging a waking, a nap or a feed is one tap, the night screen stays dim, you can add trackers of your own next to sleep, and nap suggestions are part of the single plan at $2.99/month. In Huckleberry, caregivers sign in to one shared account; in Bombus each caregiver has their own sign-in and their own view under one subscription.
Choose Huckleberry if you need a free tracker, Android or Apple Watch, or want a paid sleep plan. Choose Bombus if you mainly want quick sleep and feed logging with predictions included, and you find a large app more than you need at 3 AM.
Napper is centred on predicting naps and bedtime from your baby's rhythm, and adds more than 30 sleep sounds, a sleep course and trends. It is an App Store Editors' Choice and runs on iPhone, Apple Watch and Android. Its website lists Unlimited at $69.99/year; the App Store also lists Napper Sleep at $14.99/month or $89.99/year.
Bombus also suggests the next nap and bedtime from your baby's own history, at a fifth of the monthly price, and adds a Live Activity nap timer and custom trackers. It has no sleep sounds and no course.
Choose Napper if you want sounds and guided sleep content in the same app, or need Android. Choose Bombus if you want predictions plus fast everyday logging for less.
Baby Tracker – Newborn Log is the most widely rated app here. Its free tier covers feeds, sleep, diapers, growth, medications, vaccinations and milestones, and is supported by ads. Plus ($5.99/month or $49.99/year) removes ads and adds “What's Next” cues.
Bombus has no ads and no free tier. Its yearly price is lower than Baby Tracker Plus.
Choose Baby Tracker if free matters most and you want vaccination and milestone records. Choose Bombus if you want an ad-free, quieter app focused on sleep.
Nara Baby tracks the baby and the parent: feeds, pumping, diapers, sleep, growth, milestones and medical records, plus pregnancy and postpartum. It is ad-free and now paid: $9.99/month or $99.99 lifetime after a 7-day trial. You can switch off activities you don’t track and export your data as CSV. It gives age-based sleep guides; its App Store listing does not describe a nap predictor.
Choose Nara if you want pregnancy and postpartum tracking in one place. Choose Bombus if you want nap and bedtime suggestions learned from your own baby.
Bombus is built around one-tap logging: one tap logs a night waking, starts a nap or records a feed, and the running nap timer stays on the Lock Screen as a Live Activity. You see only the categories you switch on. Larger apps such as Huckleberry and Baby Tracker track more categories out of the box, at the cost of more screens.
Bombus includes next-nap and bedtime suggestions in its single plan at $2.99 per month or $29.99 per year (EUR 2.99 / EUR 29.99) after a 7-day trial. Huckleberry's SweetSpot nap predictor is part of Huckleberry Plus, listed at USD 11.99 per month on its pricing page in October 2026. Huckleberry has a free tier for plain logging; Bombus does not.
No. One Bombus subscription covers the household. Each caregiver you invite signs in as themselves, sees the same live log and can add to it, and you can limit an invite to one baby.
Yes. Bombus exports the log as a spreadsheet file (CSV) for a month, the last 30 days or the whole history, which you can send to a sleep consultant or bring to a pediatrician appointment. Export is included in the single plan.
No. Bombus is iPhone only. If anyone who cares for your baby uses Android, Huckleberry or Napper is a better fit.
